Drape it like it’s hot_2023

It is the creative draping of garments that underlies this limited collection. Lush, natural weaves of viscose and lyocell, suave silk, as well as supple knits of bamboo at once conceal and reveal the body. Like the untamable triumph of a flag defying the wind, so here the garments dance their primordial dance. The fabric sways and coils around the body, flattering the silhouette in a titillating union. The present moment, in its constant sparkling, is reflected in this interaction. Life is movement and the garments give it flow.

Each individual piece signifies an aspect of empowerment. Like the goddesses of ancient Greece—each glorifying and fiercely protecting their domain. It is our nature to venerate life through love, wisdom, and art. And to foster our connection with the natural world. And yet, the void of darkness, too, is always in our midst. Spite and vindictive retribution are as much our dark companions as their luminous counterparts. The shadow pulls us down while love raises us toward the light. The dance of good and evil has us in its perilous vortex. And yet the Promethean light, burning ever brighter inside, leads us higher still and closer to the dance of the gods.

DRAPE IT LIKE IT’S HOT is a creative ode to life.
